Our instructors are competent professionals who come from vast and varied backgrounds and can offer insight into all aspects of fibre optics. With ample experience in communications, signalling, security, and network control, our instructors can provide precise information regarding the design, installation, or function of fibre optic systems.
Many of our training options consist of formal classes where students can learn and practice the diverse techniques required for handling, installing, and testing cabled networks. Students will spend class hours practicing installation, testing, and support. For more details, please visit our:
Online training (mixed format)
We are aware of how hard it is to find high-level, specialised fibre optics training in French and also of the difficulty of finding time to balance it with professional obligations, travel time, and family time. It is because of this that FibreZone™ created an online training site to allow you to acquire new knowledge in order to meet your needs with regard to specialisation or reorientation of your career path.
Now, thanks in large part to fibre optic technology, it is possible to follow training sessions regardless of where you are. Whether you live in Ottawa, Louisiana, South America, Madagascar, Ivory Coast, Maine, or Europe, you can train with us from the comfort of your home or office.
We also offer mixed format classes. That is, online training combined with in-class sessions. This format lets you become internationally certified upon passing a theory exam and a practical evaluation. Additionally, participating in face-to-face training will let you participate in theory labs where you will be able to work with techniques used in common jobs such as connection, splicing, installation, and testing. Visit our training page for more information (in French).
An approach centered on current technology
During our training programs participants will receive objective information, not a sales pitch. We teach our students techniques that are applicable to all types of fibre optic products; and further, we choose the best available equipment for the job, regardless of manufacturer. Certain training exercises are, however, oriented towards specific products which are commonly used by technicians in the field, thus allowing participants to learn necessary skills while being able to be productive immediately.
Applicability of our training
Our training responds to real needs within the industry. Our course content is constantly being adjusted and evolving in order to fit with current and emerging technologies. All of our materials and techniques are presented in accordance with the latest codes, norms, recommendations, and needs of diverse players within the industry.
In order to assure the best service possible to our clients and students, we also offer technical assistance. Whether it be a question or a request for help, our personnel is always available. Even once classes are over.
One-on-one and coaching services
We also offer private training and coaching services on request.
